Urban Lava Big Events is a dynamic new company focused on bringing Port Elizabeth the best National and International Artists and Performers – taking Live Entertainment to a whole new level and branding Port Elizabeth as an Entertainment Destination on par with the best South Africa has to offer.

The goal is for Urban Lava Big Events to create a platform for Port Elizabeth that incorporates a totally professional approach, fully supported by its partners and sponsors, offering events and functions that will establish a solid foundation on which to position the city as a concert venue and thereby takes its place amongst the best on offer from South Africa’s “big” cities.  

International Artists and Performers touring South Africa inevitably overlook Port Elizabeth due to the lack of its branding and positioning as a worthy Entertainment Destination. On those rare occasions when Port Elizabeth is offered an opportunity to host Artistes or Performers at this level, it fails to attract the audience target goal due to the lack of awareness due to inadequate or limited branding, marketing and advertising. There have been exceptions, such as the successful Bruce Springsteen event.

The Urban Lava Big Events team is a vibrant group, with each member a specialist in his or her field, but come into perfect sync as a cohesive unit committed to staging world-class events in a city they truly believe has the potential to ‘rock with the best’. The team specialist categories include Event Co-ordination, Brand Concept & Graphic Design, Audio and Visual, Marketing and Advertising, Hospitality and Entertainment.

The Urban Lava Big Events team is singled-minded in their quest to ensure that Port Elizabeth is counted amongst the choice of Entertainment Destinations in South Africa.
